As always, the DWRF Golf Tournament is a highly anticipated event that provides attendees a chance to network and enjoy a little time on the greens. Tee off with us this year at 1:00 pm at the exclusive Bali Hai Golf Club, located just 3 miles from the MGM Grand Hotel. The entry fee is $225.00 per person ($59.00 is tax deductible), which includes transportation, green fee, golf cart, caddie service, and a box lunch. Club rental is $50. The debt the association owes to our wonderful members who offer their time and services as IBWA chairmen can hardly be repaid, but during this reception, we will try! Join in on the fun as IBWA Chairman Scott Hoover (Roaring Spring Bottling) hosts this event to thank and acknowledge the membership for its role in IBWA’s success during the last year. This relaxing event will allow attendees to network with peers, catch up with old friends, and enjoy an evening of light entertainment, hors d’oeuvres, and an open bar.

 

Facebook is great, but the face-to-face meeting is still considered the optimum way to conduct business. This event will facilitate that opportunity—think of this as speed dating for business—with prescheduled appointments of 5-8 minutes with IBWA member suppliers. At the end of each timed segment, bottlers will move to their next appointment. Indicate your desire to participate in this event on the conference registration form by the August 26, 2011 deadline. Registering early will enable IBWA staff to prepare you appointment schedule and send it to you in advance of the conference.

The “President’s Report”, delivered by Joseph K. Doss, IBWA President and CEO will highlight the year’s achievements, the present state of the Association, and what’s in store for the future.

 

IBWA Chairman Scott Hoover, Roaring Spring Bottling, opens the IBWA Annual Business Meeting with a report on IBWA’s finances and membership. IBWA members will also select new members and officers to the Board of Directors.

 

IBWA presents another memorable moment at the General Session with the “Passing of the Gavel” ceremony, which honors the leadership, time and commitment of 2011 Chairman Scott Hoover, and formally introduces the incoming 2012 Chairman Philippe Caradec, Danone Waters of North America, Inc. to the IBWA membership.
