BPA, groundwater management, bottle deposit bills, environmentally sensitive packaging, false claims, effective communications, sales trends, regulations, technology, doing business in a down economy—these are daily issues for the bottled water industry. Meeting the Challenges Together is the answer and it’s what the 2009 IBWA Convention and Tabletop Trade Show is all about.
The challenges are broad-based. IBWA, with its leadership capability, is at the forefront of these critical issues and is therefore committed to creating an environment at this year’s convention for the industry to gather for education and networking. Information exchange is a vital component for Meeting the Challenges Together, so plan to be in Las Vegas, October 5-9, 2009, as we tackle these challenges—TOGETHER.
The MGM Grand Hotel will serve as the IBWA headquarters hotel and the location of all IBWA program events. IBWA successfully co-located with PACK EXPO Las Vegas (PELV) in 2007 and will be doing the same in 2009. PELV will be located at the Las Vegas Convention Center and shuttle buses will be available from the MGM Grand.
This co-location provides IBWA attendees with complimentary registration to access the PELV trade show and visit with over 1,300 exhibitors who will showcase state-of-the-art advances in packaging machinery, converting machinery, containers, materials and components.
